I was really bored after I finished my TAKS test so I decided to do what I hate the most...READING!!!! (shocking, right?) So this readers response is about...TIME TRAVEL!!! I will post what I feel about it and it is your job (yes this means you ;) to post comments on my blog or post what you think on your blog( only if I know your blog site, if not comment it to me)
I feel like time travel is not only nearly impossible, but HIGHLY DANGEROUS. One wrong move and you could kill you great, great, great, grandmother, therefore killing your self. Or you could make it so you parents never even meet therefore making it so you were never born (you was never here) (yet another random comment that popped into my head) ant way. so i do think it would be really cool to make time travel possibly but you never know the possible "ripple effects".
SPOILER ALERT!!!! PLEASE SKIP THE NEXT PARAGRAPH IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE BOOK SABOTAGE!!!!!!! " 'You just witnessed the first time shift in history. The first time destiny it's self was derailed. The end of destiny." Spoken by the character "Second" page 309. In this book when you mess up original time, these things called tracers (they look ghostly) show what should have happened to history the first time. But in the books case those tracers change 2 people ( grandpa and grand daughter) who were never supposed to meet so that they would meet. now you might be thinking "OMG what about the "ripple effects!!!", but "' They were destined [grandpa and grand daughter] to go to their graves without ever knowing the fate of each other. And believe me, their graves were coming for the both of them, very soon. Wouldn't you call that a mistake on time's part? Didn't it need to be corrected?'" (Second page 310-311) So if time travel will make a happy ending in history and as long as there are little to no "ripple effects" I believe that time travel could be used then, but not in any other case.
